Here are some examples of combining multiple Intervals to produce some more complex patterns. Using this approach, it is easy to see how intervalic patterns can help us break out of the normal scales and modes used when improvising. Try to invent some new patterns of your own, even just one good pattern will add a new sound to your solos.
Follow the sequence of numbers, moving from one colour block to the next. Some of these are real tongue twisters, or should I say finger twisters.
